In 2021, he received the June Bacon-Bercy Award in meteorological broadcasts by the American Meteorological Society in March 2020 for his lifesaving work in the central Tennessee tornado outbreak. It was also named one of the 40 Under 40 in the Nashville Business Journal for 2020.
