When should I start my fertility treatment? | IVF Treatment Pakistan

More and more women are fulfilling their dream of becoming mothers through IVF and, therefore, must undergo fertility treatment. In these cases, doubt arises when you consider when to start treatment. Pay attention, in this article we tell you when to start your fertility treatment. Academic training, job stability, and the cost of living are factors that have forced women to have later motherhood, between 30 and 40 years of age. This means that the eggs lose quality and it becomes increasingly difficult to conceive a baby naturally.

That is why the number of IVF Treatment Pakistan has been increasing. In 40 years, since the birth of the first baby using this technique, more than 8 million babies have been born through IVF.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO START MY FERTILITY TREATMENT?

There comes a time when the call of the biological clock comes, and age and time are important when starting fertility treatment. Experts point out that, after a year of trying to get pregnant in the traditional way if you are under 35 years old, or 6 months if you are over 35 years old, it is time to go to the specialist to do a check-up on both parents.

Once it is known whether the pregnancy is not caused by male or female infertility problems, it will be easier to know what type of treatment is most appropriate for the couple in question. In this sense, it is also important to take into account the age of the future mother, and that from the age of 35, the eggs deteriorate and lose quality.

Some facts about male fertility

At the IVF Treatment  Unit we have studied more than 250 male candidates to donate semen. All of them are under 30 years old and apparently healthy. The result leaves no doubt: 50% of the candidates had at least some alteration in some parameter (number or mobility, mostly) and 18% had several parameters below normal. This percentage is high and approximately 10% higher than what we had a decade ago.

On the other hand, Male Fertility Treatment in Lahore study published in the prestigious scientific journal Human Reproduction also speaks of a serious and general deterioration in the concentration and morphology of sperm, and demonstrates that the number of sperm produced by a 35-year-old man has fallen 32.2% in 16 years.

IVF and embryo transfer represent the moments when hope comes to life in a tangible way. IVF involves the fertilization of eggs by sperm in the laboratory, while embryo transfer involves placing the resulting embryo into the uterus. Each of these steps will be explained in detail, highlighting the crucial role of the laboratory and the fertility specialist.
